Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Consultant to lead and support commercial improvement initiatives during a 6-month project. The role will focus on evaluating current commercial operations, identifying growth opportunities, and developing strategies to enhance sales performance, market presence, and overall business effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the current commercial strategy, sales processes, and market performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and commercial operations.
- Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive commercial initiatives.
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to monitor commercial KPIs.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize sales productivity and profitability.
- Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management.
- Support change management initiatives related to commercial transformation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial, sales, or business development roles within the FMCG sector.
- Previous consulting or project-based experience is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing commercial strategies.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and drive change.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial strategy, sales operations, and route-to-market models.
- Experience with business performance analysis and KPI development.
- Knowledge of market analysis and commercial planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM systems and business intelligence tools is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver project milestones within tight deadlines.
- Strong business acumen with a results-oriented mindset.
