Reconciliation Specialist

Responsible for managing and overseeing financial reconciliation processes across multiple payment channels and banking partners. Ensures accuracy, integrity, and timely settlement of transactions while identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for various payment channels (POS, online gateways, mobile wallets, etc.)• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between internal systems, banks, and third-party providers• Monitor transaction flows and ensure proper recording in financial systems• Coordinate with banks and partners to validate settlement reports and resolve unmatched transactions• Prepare reconciliation reports and share insights with management and stakeholders• Ensure compliance with financial controls, policies, and audit requirements• Support automation initiatives to improve reconciliation efficiency and accuracy• Handle escalations related to reconciliation issues and provide timely resolutions• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to enhance system performance and reporting accuracy.
