Job OverviewEshratex Spinning S.A.E, a world-class textile group established in 2006, is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer - Industrial Experience to join our team in Alexandria, Egypt. This is a FULL_TIME position within our state-of-the-art facility, which specialises in producing 100% cotton, fine, and superfine count yarns. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the electrical systems and machinery that are central to our high-quality production process. You will play a vital role in ensuring the operational efficiency, reliability, and safety of our advanced equipment from leading global manufacturers such as RIETER, Schlafhorst, and Savio.Responsibilities* Conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all industrial electrical systems, control panels, and production machinery to minimise downtime.* Developing and implementing preventative maintenance schedules for all electrical equipment.* Diagnosing and rectifying complex electrical faults in PLCs, motors, drives, and other automated systems.* Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform installations and repairs.* Ensuring all electrical work complies with company and industry health and safety standards.* Assisting with the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment.* Collaborating with the production and mechanical maintenance teams to ensure seamless plant operations.* Identifying opportunities for system improvements and energy optimisation.* Maintaining an organised inventory of electrical spare parts and components.Qualifications* A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.* Proven professional experience as an Electrical Engineer within a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.* Strong practical knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, servo motors, and industrial control systems.* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.* A thorough understanding of electrical safety procedures and regulations.* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.* Experience within the textile manufacturing industry is highly desirable.* Familiarity with machinery from the manufacturers mentioned (RIETER, Schlafhorst, Savio, LUWA, etc.) would be a significant advantage.
