Key Responsibilities Concept & Collection Development: Research seasonal trends, fabrics, colors, and cuts to build mood boards, color palettes, and seasonal collections focused on homewear and sleepwear. Sketching & CAD Design: Create detailed digital flat sketches and visual illustrations using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Tech Pack Creation: Build and maintain detailed technical packs containing design specs, fabric details, measurement charts, trims, and construction notes. Fabric & Trim Sourcing: Test and select appropriate lightweight, soft, and durable fabrics (cotton, modal, satin, knits) suitable for high-quality homewear. Sample Review & Fitting: Work closely with technical designers and pattern makers during fitting sessions to review sample execution, adjustments, and final detailing before mass production. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, purchasing, and marketing teams to ensure all designs align with target price points, cost targets, and brand identity.Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts, Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field.Experience: 2–4 years of experience in fashion design (homewear, sleepwear, or casual wear preferred).Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD software, and Tech Pack creation.Industry KnowledgeStrong understanding of garment construction, fabric performance, pattern-making concepts, and fitting principles.Soft SkillsStrong attention to detail, time management, creative problem-solving, and cross-team communication.
