This role is responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality of ready-mix concrete production, including sampling, testing, and validating materials and finished products against established standards and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections at batching plants and delivery sites, documenting test results, identifying non-conformities, and coordinating corrective actions with production and operations teams. The Quality Control Engineer will develop and maintain quality procedures, support quality assurance audits, update technical records, and prepare reports for management and clients. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams to improve processes, provide technical guidance on mix designs, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills, including experience with concrete testing methods and standards.Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Quality Management capabilities to interpret data, optimize processes, and maintain consistent product quality.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and clients, and to prepare clear technical reports.Relevant academic background in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field, with experience in ready-mix concrete or construction industries.Knowledge of industry codes and standards (e.g., ASTM, EN, or local regulations), and familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, perform field inspections, and respond to quality issues in a timely manner.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer applications and laboratory equipment.
