Today, we are recruiting for a Section Engineer (North Coast) to join our team in Egypt. Support daily site activities across alignments, stations, service points, and depots, ensuring project milestones are achieved. Assist Section Leads and Site Managers in monitoring construction progress and tracking priority site activities through completion. Verify that site teams are working with the latest approved drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Prepare weekly site progress reports, including progress updates and photographic documentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to support site access, construction activities, and project interfaces. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including Track, Electrification, Signaling & Communications, Depot Workshop Equipment (DWE), and Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), to facilitate smooth project execution and site handovers. Support the identification and resolution of site coordination issues while maintaining effective communication with project stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Siemens Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards and promote a safe working environment on site. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline. Fresh graduates and engineers with up to 2 years of experience are encouraged to apply. Strong interest in railway infrastructure, station construction, civil works, fit-out activities, and multidisciplinary project coordination. Valid driving license and own vehicle are required. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Project is considered an advantage. Strong organizational, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-motivated approach. Awareness of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) practices and willingness to work across multiple project sites throughout Egypt. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic.
