Job Purpose:Ensure reliability and efficiency of UPS systems and Data Center (DC) infrastructure by performing maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensure compliance with industry standards.Main job duties and responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on UPS systems and Data Center (DC) infrastructure to ensure continuous operation.Monitor power and cooling system performance, identify and resolve potential issues before they cause downtime.Follow safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to ensure a safe and efficient workplace.Respond to emergencies by diagnose and repair critical failures in UPS and DC systems to minimize service disruptions.Optimize system performance by implement best practices and recommendations to extend equipment lifespan.Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and system updates for reporting and compliance.Manage spare parts inventory to ensure quick response to maintenance and repair needs.Support installation, testing, and upgrades of UPS systems, battery replacements, and power infrastructure improvements.Conduct routine inspections and system tests to verify operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.Coordinate with IT, electrical, and facility teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of power infrastructure.Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.Job requirements:Educational background and previous experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Certification in UPS systems, or data center infrastructure is a plus.Min. 4 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of UPS systems and Data Center (DC) infrastructure.
