Job SummaryThe Sales Supervisor supports the Sales Manager in driving revenue growth by supervising the sales team, maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and business partners, and ensuring the achievement of room, meeting, and event sales targets. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maximizing hotel occupancy and revenue.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily activities of the hotel sales team and ensure sales targets are achieved.Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to increase room, banquet, conference, and event revenue.Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and key clients.Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and sales calls.Conduct hotel site inspections and presentations for prospective clients. Prepare quotations, contracts, and proposals in accordance with hotel policies.Monitor team performance and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.Ensure all sales activities, customer interactions, and contracts are accurately recorded in the hotel's CRM or PMS.Coordinate with Front Office, Reservations, Revenue Management, Banquet, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify business opportunities.Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the hotel.Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and forecasts.Handle guest inquiries and resolve customer issues professionally to ensure high satisfaction.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.3–5 years of hotel sales experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.Experience in corporate, leisure, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), or group sales is preferred.Familiarity with hotel CRM and Property Management Systems (PMS), such as Opera, is an advantage.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.Required SkillsStrong leadership and team supervision.Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills.Strong communication and presentation abilities.Relationship-building and customer service excellence.Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality sales.Time management and organizational skills.Analytical thinking and reporting skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet revenue targets.Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with excellent business communication skills.Working ConditionsFull-time position with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays when required.Frequent client meetings, hotel site inspections, and participation in industry events.Occasional travel to meet clients or attend trade exhibitions.
